College education costs add up — SEMA is here to help.
Receive up to $5,000 toward your schooling. Each year, SEMA awards funds to assist students with college tuition and offers loan-forgiveness assistance for qualifying individuals connected to SEMA-member businesses. Students pursuing any academic or technical path that leads to a career in the automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
Awards are distributed in July — you could be a recipient!

Scholarship eligibility
1. Be a high school senior or at least 18 years old when you submit your application.
2. Hold U.S. or Canadian citizenship (permanent or legal residents are not eligible).
3. Show a demonstrated passion for the automotive hobby and a career in the industry.
4. Be an incoming freshman or currently enrolled at a college, university, or post-secondary career and technology school in the United States or Canada.
5. Be pursuing a degree or certificate that leads to an automotive career — all disciplines are welcome.
Loan Forgiveness eligibility
1. Be employed by a SEMA member business.
2. Demonstrate a passion for the automotive hobby and industry career.
3. Have earned a degree or certificate from a college, university, or career/technical school in the United States or Canada.
4. Carry at least $2,000 in outstanding student loan debt.
