Overview
The Nursing Economic$ Foundation is accepting applications for its annual scholarship awards for registered nurses enrolled in graduate nursing study. These scholarships are intended to help RNs pursuing advanced degrees who plan to take on roles in nursing leadership, administration, management, or education. Through 2025 the Foundation has distributed $485,000 in scholarship support.
Award information
- Eligible awards target U.S. citizen registered nurses who are pursuing an accredited master’s or doctoral degree in nursing.
- Eligible programs should have a clear emphasis on nursing administration, management, or leadership.
- Scholarship funds are paid jointly to the recipient and the recipient’s educational institution to offset tuition expenses.
Who may apply
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or have been accepted to a graduate nursing program (master’s or doctoral) for the 2025–2026 academic year.
- Demonstrate a career focus in nursing administration, management, leadership, or education.
- Be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid RN license.
- Submit a completed application package by the deadline of May 15, 2026.
Application materials
Applicants are required to include:
- Official academic transcripts,
- GRE or Miller Analogies Test scores,
- Tuition cost information from the institution,
- A current curriculum vitae.
Note: Individuals who previously received a Nursing Economic$ Foundation scholarship are ineligible to apply for the same degree program.
