Timeline

Eligibility
Candidates will only be considered if they meet all of the following requirements:
- High school senior graduating in Spring 2026
- U.S. resident status: U.S. citizen or holder of an extended visa
- Coursework: completion of three or more AP, IB, or dual-enrollment classes
- Standardized test: SAT score of 1350 or higher OR ACT composite of 30 or higher
- Academic record: unweighted GPA of at least 3.75
- College plans: committed to enroll in a U.S. college in Fall 2026

Required Application Materials
Personal Information
- You will be asked for basic contact and demographic details (name, mailing address, school, program preferences, etc.).
- This personal data is not used in evaluating applications; it is collected to reach finalists and to help BBPLF tailor programs and resources.
Academic Documentation
- Provide documentation demonstrating sustained academic performance, including your most recent transcript, official SAT/ACT score report (if applicable), and a summary of extracurricular involvement.
- Materials in this section will be reviewed as part of the application evaluation; finalists will be required to verify submitted information.
Statements
Applicants must submit two written statements:
1) Advocacy Statement — up to 50 words explaining why you should receive the award (feel free to highlight achievements and strengths).
2) Creative Statement — up to 250 words responding to one of the three elective prompts (prompts are listed below).
