Antibodies Online Annual University Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Antibodies Online
Introduction
antibodies-online, in collaboration with Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc., supports emerging scientists through the Joy Cappel Scholars Network. As part of that program, the Impact Scholarship awards students who show promise to contribute meaningfully to the life sciences through research, outreach, or innovative science communication.
What the award recognizes
Each year two students in the United States receive a $1,000 stipend. The Impact Scholarship honors applicants who demonstrate potential to make a positive, lasting contribution to the life sciences—whether through research goals, community involvement, or creative ways of explaining science.
Eligibility
- Must be a U.S.-based high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who is either enrolled in, or has been accepted to, a college or university in the United States for the upcoming fall or spring term. (In other words, you have chosen, applied to, and been accepted by an institution for the next term.)
- Intended major must be in the Life Sciences or a related discipline.
Application requirements
- Submit a short video of approximately 30 seconds.
- Prompt: In roughly 30 seconds, recount a real moment—in a lab, classroom, or everyday life—that changed how you view science. Describe what occurred and what you learned from that experience.
Deadlines, selection, and award delivery
- Applications are due by February 3 and August 3 of the current year.
- Winners are selected and notified within two weeks of each deadline.
- The $1,000 award is issued as a check and will be mailed directly to the university listed on the application.
