Scholarship overview
We are offering a $1,000 Healthcare Professional Scholarship to help a student pursuing a licensure-track healthcare career with tuition and related educational expenses at their college, university, or training program.
Who is eligible
To qualify for the Joseph J. Bogdan, Inc. Healthcare Professional Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program through at least Fall 2026, and be pursuing a degree that leads to professional healthcare licensure. Eligible program examples include:
- Medical or pre-medical programs
- Pharmacy or pre-pharmacy programs
- Nursing or nurse practitioner programs
- Physician assistant programs
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Application requirements
Applicants must submit a 90-second video answering the prompt:
“How will this scholarship benefit or help to further your education?”
Along with the video, please provide the following via the application form:
- Full name and date of birth
- Phone number and email address
- Mailing address
- Academic transcript and proof of current enrollment
- A professional headshot
Selection process and criteria
One recipient will be chosen for Fall 2026. Applicants will be evaluated on:
- Thoughtfulness and originality of the video content
- Clarity and organization of the video presentation
- Whether the applicant meets the eligibility requirements
Notification and award
The selected student will be notified by July 8, 2026. The $1,000 award will be paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution. By accepting the scholarship, recipients agree to allow the firm to use their name, photo, and essay on the firm’s website and other promotional channels.
