Overview
Applications are open annually from January 1 through June 1. To be eligible you must either be applying for admission to a Cosmetology or Barber school or be currently enrolled in a Cosmetology or Barber training program.
Eligibility
- Must be applying to enter, or actively enrolled in, a Cosmetology or Barber program.
- If you graduate from a Cosmetology or Barber program between January 1 and August 31 of the award year, you are NOT eligible.
- Students enrolled in Esthetician or Nail technician programs are NOT eligible.
How to Apply
- During the application window (January 1 – June 1), begin your submission by clicking the “Apply Online” link. Carefully complete every question and include all requested financial details—applications with missing information cannot be submitted.
- You may save a partially completed application as a draft and return to it later.
- Two letters of recommendation are required. Your application cannot be finalized and submitted until both letters have been received.
- Deadline to submit your completed application for this cycle is June 1, 2026.
Notification
All applicants will receive notice of their award status in September.
