WACPC Scholarships

Application instructions — please read carefully
Eligibility
- Team coach must hold active membership in WACPC at the time of application.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated academic achievement.
- Participation in extracurricular activities.
Required materials (to be uploaded through the Kaleidoscope application)
- Completed online scholarship application submitted via the Kaleidoscope platform.
- Activity log listing school, work, and community involvement with the total number of hours for each activity from 9th through 12th grade.
- Personal essay (maximum 500 words).
- High school transcript (PDF). Transcript must show seven completed semesters, including the first semester of senior year.
- Wallet-size senior portrait (vertical/portrait headshot). Acceptable formats: .JPEG or .PNG.
- Two evaluations submitted through Kaleidoscope: one from your team coach and one from an additional referee (teacher, school administrator, or community representative). Note: your coach must be the active WACPC member noted above.
Essay guidance (500-word limit)
You may wish to address some or all of the following in your personal statement:
- Strengths and qualities developed through your cheerleading and/or dance participation.
- How cheer and/or dance has influenced your personal growth or career plans.
- Any family circumstances or financial needs that have affected you.
- Leadership roles and experiences, particularly those connected to cheer and/or dance.
Submission notes and deadline
- All supporting documents must be uploaded during the Kaleidoscope application process — please have every file ready before you begin.
- All application materials must be submitted by March 19, 2026.
