Eastern Sierra Audubon Society High School Senior Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Eastern Sierra Audubon Society
Introductory Overview
Each year the Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance grants as many as two scholarships of $500 each to graduating high school seniors from Inyo County and/or Mono County. Recipients will be students whose intended course of study, ongoing or planned volunteer activities, and career aspirations support the Alliance’s mission. Relevant areas of study can include — but are not limited to — the arts, natural and social sciences, education, journalism, law, public policy, environmental justice, outdoor recreation, or other related disciplines. While a record of volunteer service is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Eligibility
- Must be a graduating high school senior who either lives in or attends school in Inyo County or Mono County.
- Must plan to enroll full-time in the next academic year at an accredited postsecondary institution. Eligible institutions include vocational programs, alternative or specialized schools, community colleges, and 2- or 4-year colleges/universities.
