About the scholarships
Scholarships from the HITEC Foundation provide critical financial assistance so students can pursue technology careers. In addition to funding, scholars receive mentorship from professionals in the HITEC community and access to career development resources and internship connections. Since the scholarship program began in 2017, we have awarded 514 scholarships totaling $1,518,000.
Eligibility requirements
- Be a graduating high school senior or a current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Be majoring in, or intending to major in, Technology or an approved technology-related field.
- Be a U.S. citizen, a permanent legal resident, or have active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.

Award amount
Recipients may receive up to $5,000 to support their educational expenses.
Program administration
To preserve objectivity and professional stewardship of the selection process, the scholarship program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS), an independent organization specializing in the management of sponsored educational assistance programs.
